On Wednesday, Usmagazine.com reported that the two are back on after splitting in 2007.
“Their friends are quite pleased that they’re getting back together and are trying to give them space,” a source said.
McAdams recently made an appearance at Gosling’s weekly deejay gig at Green Door lounge in Hollywood.
The two began dating after the wrapping the 2004 romance The Notebook.

After they called it quits, Gosling told GQ that women were “mad” at him.
“A girl came up to me on the street and she almost smacked me,” he said. “Like, ‘How could you? How could you let a girl like that go?’”
